09:23 pm:

It's been a while since I have made a journal entry but i guess i need to put some stuff into type.  I've made a lot of changes in my life.  I am no longer restrained by the chains of a broken mind.  My thinking has never been clearer, quicker, and more pleasant.  I am alive (thank God) and loving every minute of it.  I guess i am somewhat embarrassed to say i have kept a few old habits, but they no longer rule my life.  Instead of constantly being in a haze of intoxication, i am helping and spending time with my family and friends.  Although i do not regret past relationships that were, to say the least, somewhat toxic. i am glad they have now come to an end.  I now have a lovely new girlfriend and even stronger relationships with my friends who chose to stick with me throughout my treatment.  Everything makes me so happy.  I wish all of you could feel the feelings i feel now.

08:58 pm: I wish someone would yell at me to do homework.
I have been sitting here for a good three hours playing guitar and trying to find a certain song on JERK. It's fine because I only have a few minutes of homework tonight.

That is a wondrous thing in itself. A few minutes of work as opposed to about 4 hours. Although, I guess that can bad thing as well. It is allowing me to think. When I think, I get depressed. That ain't no fun. I guess I should start practicing my voila more until my homework picks up.

Viola... I need to change my strings but I don't want to deal with the stretching and horrible out of tuneness for a week. They sound like crap, so I guess I have to do it. Also, I am ashamed to say it but I think I might like playing violin more than viola (playing. I still prefer the sound of a viola). They are ridiculously easy to play compared to viola, and I am much better at it. It is too difficult to get a good tone on a viola. I can do it, and I do, but the movements seem so stressed.

I hope I didn't bomb the simple harmonic motion part of the Physics test. I will probably retake it.

We put up the tree today. The thing us huge. I think it is about as wide as it is tall. Three strands of lights was barely enough to illuminate the massive thing.

School again tomorrow. I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend, and I hope the two weeks leading up to break are just as enjoyable.

You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.
